PE Intent 

At St. Paul’s (Slade Green) C of E Primary School, we strive to create a culture that inspires an active generation, in which pupils support and encourage one another to achieve. We want all our pupils to flourish and understand the positive impact physical activity has on their physical health and well-being. We value the importance of ensuring our pupils experience a wide variety of sports and physical activities to enhance life-long fitness and healthy life choices. Our aim is to provide a safe, supportive environment for our pupils to learn and experience fair play, honest competition and good sporting behaviour, as individual participants, team members and spectators; thereby embedding life-long and global values such as co-operation, collaboration and equity of play. We aspire for all our pupils to adopt a positive mind-set and self- belief that anything can be achieved with determination and resilience.
