Justice, Fairness and Responsibility
Show Racism the Red Card 2024
Show the Red Card to Racism is an anti-racism initiative that encourages people to actively stand against racism, using the symbolism of the red card, commonly used in sports to indicate unacceptable behaviour. We recognise racism as a form of injustice. By advocating for this cause, we learn that we have a role in promoting inclusivity and fairness.
#HelloYellow
Everybody took part in #HelloYellow day to raise vital funds and show children and young people they’re not alone with their mental health. Our involvement teaches children that everyone’s feelings and mental well-being are valuable and worth advocating for.
By participating in #HelloYellow, we encourage our students to see themselves as advocates who can help create a more supportive and understanding school community. They learn that their voices matter in the conversation around mental health and that they can make a difference by showing empathy, speaking up for those who need help, and promoting a culture where it’s okay to ask for support
Donating to the Foodbank
Our school community came together during our Harvest Festival to donate food for the local foodbank. This meaningful act allowed our students to put their faith into action, sharing compassion and generosity with those in need. Rooted in our Christian values, this effort helps students understand the importance of giving, especially during times of hardship, and teaches them that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Through our Harvest Festival donations, we live out our commitment to supporting others and strengthening our wider community.
Climate Action Countdown
We had Max and Abbie in school launching the Climate Action Countdown at St. Paul's. This is an annual climate action challenge to help school's around the UK take action for climate and nature.
Diabetes UK Fundraiser
Our school recently held a sponsored circuit event to raise money for Diabetes UK. This initiative allowed our students to show compassion and support for those affected by diabetes, a condition that impacts millions of lives. Through active participation and fundraising, students learned the importance of standing up for causes that promote health and well-being in our wider community. Rooted in our Church of England values, this effort reflects our dedication to helping others, teaching students that they can make a difference through kindness, action, and generosity.
