We enjoyed being Space Explorers!
We have enjoyed being dinosaur explorers!
We have enjoyed being polar explorers and finding out about the Arctic and Antarctica.
We are enjoying our new explorer home corner.

Christmas Dinner!
We read The Snowman by Raymond Briggs. We made melted snowman biscuits!
Christmas Jumper Day
We visited St Augustine's Church and Reverend Jim told us the story of Jonah and the Whale.
Lest We Forget
On 5th November we made chocolate sparklers!
We wore red to Show Racism the Red Card.
We read Oliver's Milkshake and made our own banana milkshakes!
We read Handa's Surprise and tasted different fruits.
We wore yellow and planted daffodil bulbs for World Mental Health Day.
We have been learning about the sense of touch and have been feeling things with our hands and feet.
Harvest Festival. We celebrated the harvest in class and went to look at all of the generous food donations in the hall.
We have settled in well and have been very busy!
This week we started Read Write Inc lessons. We have learnt the sounds m, a, s, d and t. Have a look at all the fun we've had.
Today we had our first P.E lesson. Next week we will be changing into our P.E kits.
