Christmas worship at St Augustine's church
Wed 20 Dec 2023We had a special Christmas service today at St Augustine’s church. A huge well done to our wonderful readers and to all the children who sang so beautifully. Thank you to Reverend Jim who shared the true meaning of Christmas and explained the meaning behind the christingle.

Sing-along Christmas workshop
Wed 20 Dec 2023We had a wonderful sing-a- long Christmas workshop for all the children in Silver Birch and Lighthouse today. The children had a fantastic time decorating biscuits, playing Christmas games and making decorations. The children also sang Christmas songs for their parents. A huge thank you to Miss Golding for organising the workshop. Thank you to all the families who joined us. We wish you all a very Happy Christmas.

The Children's Book Project
Tue 19 Dec 2023We are delighted to be part of the Children's Book Project this year to promote children's love of books. The children's Book Project works with schools across the UK to redistribute thousands of new and nearly new books to children and their families.
Every child in the school was able to select two books to read and keep at home. There will be another opportunity to select a further two books in the Spring and Summer terms.
Thank you to the Children's Book Project for this generous donation and to our wonderful Year 6 pupils who ran the pop- up book shop!

Celebration Day
Wed 13 Dec 2023We had a special celebration day to celebrate our Ofsted 'Good' rating and our Rights Respecting gold Award Re-accreditation. The day started with a drone shot of all the children followed by a special celebration lunch and then a pantomime. Congratulations to all our amazing children and staff!

Carol Service at st Augustine's church
Sun 10 Dec 2023St Paul’s choir were delighted to join the carol service at St Augustine’s church last week. The children sang beautifully. It was a lovely way to start the countdown to Christmas.

St Paul's Christmas fair
Fri 08 Dec 2023What a magical time for all the pupils of St Paul’s at our Christmas fair, yesterday! A huge thank you to our amazing team of parents and staff - ‘the friends of St Paul’s’ who made this happen.
We were delighted that Father Christmas came to join us despite it being such a busy time of the year.
Thank you also to the choir of St Augustine’s church who sang carols with the children.

Children In Need Day
Fri 17 Nov 2023We have been raising funds for ‘children in need’ today. Thank you to all the children and parents for supporting this event. A great time has been had by all whilst raising money for a good cause.

Visit by Trinitas Central Services team
Tue 14 Nov 2023We were delighted to welcome Trinitas Central Services (TCS) to St Paul’s this morning. The team were able to tour the school to see the amazing work undertaken by the children. Our school council and head students showed them around the school and explained how we are a Right Respecting Gold school. Thank you to everyone in the team who have supported St Paul’s in our journey to be a ‘good’ school.
We are so proud of our wonderful pupils and it was lovely to share this with you.

Remembrance Sunday at St Augustine's church
Sun 12 Nov 2023Our leading lights joined a special service at St Augustine’s church yesterday to commemorate those who served in World War One and Two, from the local area. Following a two minute silence, the children laid a special wreath made by all the pupils at St Paul’s.

Remembrance activities across the school
Fri 10 Nov 2023The children at St Paul’s have been remembering the soldiers who have fought in different wars and those who serve today. They have made poppy wreaths and joined in a 2 minute silence at 11am.
Our Nursery children painted pictures of poppies and made poppy biscuits for Remembrance Day.
