Science Intent

At St. Paul's (Slade Green) C of E Primary School, we encourage children to be inquisitive throughout their time at school and beyond. 

Our Science Curriculum fosters a healthy curiosity in children about the world we live in, whilst acquiring specific and lifelong skills and knowledge to help them think scientifically.  We want the children at St Paul's to love science and recognise how it makes life's mysterious features understandable. 

We aim for our children to gain a breadth of scientific knowledge, but also have the capacity to seek out their own answers through exploration.  Our Science curriculum allows the children to gain an understanding of scientific processes and of the uses and implications of science; in the past, today and for the future world in which we live.
