Look at our fantastic jungle jeeps! We had to cut our axles with a saw, place them through the chassis of our jeep, add the wheels on, then create and secure with a washer.

We were lucky enough to have an Olympian visit our school this week. Her name was Sophie Ogilvie and she was a canoeist. We had to do our sponsored event by completing as many reps of each activity in the time that was given.

Our trip to the farm was amazing! We got the bus all the way to the farm, we saw lots of different animals including pigs, sheep and cows.

Spring 2 Learning Quest - The Secret Garden

To complete our landmarks topic in Geography, we researched the key landmarks in the UK. We then drew them and worked together to locate them on a map of the UK.

Today, we worked together to create a 'Forgiveness Box'. Then, we all thought of a scenario where we had to forgive, we wrote it down and posted it in the box. We did this to show we can 'forgive and forget' just like God did. We discussed how it made us feel to forgive and move on.

We visited the Forest School to see what habitats we could find. We learnt what a microhabitat was and had to look very closely to see what minibeasts were living there!

Spring 1 Learning Quest - Explosive Events

We had a very important visitor come to St. Paul's yesterday to talk about her job! She was a detective in the police! We asked her lots of questions about her job, what she does, how she got into that role, if she needed any training and many more! She even let us try on her hats!

P.E. - Dance

This term, our theme for Dance is 'Water'. This week we were exploring rivers, we had to move from the source of the river to the mouth of the river. We also had to listen and adapt to the style of music that was playing.

R.E. - Thankful circle

We created a thankful circle. We looked at different values such as kindness, forgiveness, friendliness, sharing, having fun together and being cheerful. We thanked our friends for these values.

P.E. - Ball Skills

We learnt how to dribble the ball accurately with control. Once we had the ball under control we tried to gain speed as we dribbled.

We were so lucky to have a visit from a Paratrooper! He told us all about his role as an officer and how proud he was to serve our country! We even got to hold his helmet!
