Eco-Warriors

In our SWAC assembly this term, Lizze from Bexley helped us explore how we can help our environment by reducing, reusing, and recycling. We discussed simple yet powerful actions we can take every day, such as cutting down on waste, reusing items where possible, and recycling materials to protect our planet. This ties into our Courageous Advocacy, where we are encouraged to stand up for what’s right and be brave in making a positive impact on the world around us. By working together, we can show care and responsibility for God's creation and inspire others to do the same. Our actions, big or small, can lead to meaningful change and a healthier planet for everyone!

Developing our Meadow and allotment

Our school recently took part in a fantastic project to create a wild meadow and an allotment area, which will help us learn more about nature and the environment. The wild meadow will be full of beautiful flowers and plants that attract wildlife, creating a peaceful space for both learning and relaxation. Alongside the meadow, we have an allotment area where students can grow their own vegetables and learn about sustainable gardening. One of the highlights of the project is the greenhouse, which was built using recycled bottles, showing how we can reuse materials to help protect the planet. This project encourages everyone to get involved in taking care of our environment and supports our efforts to live more sustainably.
