Today we have been looking at how to manage risks and not give into peer pressure. We know the value of our gut instincts and if it feels wrong it is. We know who to talk to and how we can prevent certain situations. Stay Safe, Be Responsible and Be Respectful! Our Quest is Blue Abyss

Happy World Book Day 2021!

Today we dressed up as our favourite book characters to celebrate the 25th annual World Book Day. We did a scavanger hunt for book characters and features, held a Google Meet where we played 'The Masked Reader' and read parts of our favourite books. The children in school also did the final Joe Wicks PE workout in full costume! Check out the photos below:

Our Quest is

Vicious Vikings

What a fantastic half term we have had on 'Vicious Vikings'. We have loved it in school and at home. Here are some more of the children's amazing work from home.

To get home today, our Vikings had to make their Longboats...somehow I don't think they will get very far... yum yum!

Today we have turned into Vikings and made a Viking Punch!

Today we have consolidated our Science Sound topic by making a string telephone.

Here are some of our outstanding Viking poems about Danegeld.

05/02/21

Today we made pizzas as part of our 'Instructional Writing' work. First we covered bases in tomato puree, then added lots of cheese, ham, chorizo and pepperoni, before putting them in the oven. They looked amazing and the smell wafting up the corridor even caught the attention of Mrs Walford, who decided to put the pictures on the school Twitter page, prompting Pizza Express to send us a reply!

Check out the pictures below:

We wanted to share with you some of the children's excellent online learning.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Over the last few weeks we've been learning about how Saxons used to live, where they settled and what their villages were like. This week, some of us then recreated Saxon villages using cardboard, plastic and even Lego pieces! Check out our amazing work!
