Dear Parents/Carers

We have had another busy and productive term!

We are delighted that the children were able to participate in more activities this term.  Year 6 had a great time at Nuclear with children enjoying the muddy obstacle course and the infamous death slide!  They also visited Rochester Cathedral for a special celebration as they move to secondary school.

Reception have had a visit from Zoolab and were able to see a variety of minibeasts.

Year 3 have explored the local area hunting for the missing Golden Ticket!

All of the children thoroughly enjoyed their sports event this year.  They took part in a sports circuit and showed great determination and resilience.  We would like to thank all children and parents for sponsoring this event.  We managed to raise a staggering total of £1394.73for Diabetes UK.

This year we have a few staff to say goodbye to; Mr Kelly, Mrs Sayers and Mrs Shrestha.  We would like to thank them for all their hard work and wish them all the best for the future.

We also have several staff who are going on Maternity Leave; Miss Enwright, Miss Johnston,

Miss Standing and Mrs Fernandez. We wish them all the best of luck for their new arrivals!

Finally, Mrs Perry is retiring this year after 21 years of service to the school!  We thank her for all her hard work and wish her a very happy and well deserved retirement!

In September we will be welcoming new members of staff across the school; Mrs Francinque, Mrs Tongue and Mrs Onwunumah.

We say goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 Pupils who should be very proud of all their achievements!  We wish them every success as they move to secondary school.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support.  I wish you all a safe and happy Summer and look forward to seeing you in September.

Mrs W Cornford
